Co-curricular Transcript
What is the co-curricular transcript?
A primary focus of Marymount’s mission is to provide you with a solid foundation for moving on to a four-year university and a successful career. The co-curricular experience promotes participation in a variety of activities that prepare and strengthen the whole person - spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, socially, culturally - to complement your intellectual development (see our Wellness Model). Participating in the transcript program allows you the opportunity to take advantage of a unique collegiate environment by recording your involvement. This will not only be valuable when applying to a four-year college or university, but will also be a valuable tool in building your resume.
The Co-curricular Transcript Program has been designed to assist Marymount students who wish to provide prospective colleges, universities, employers, etc., with official documentation for their efforts and achievements in co-curricular activities.
How does it work?
For every activity that you are involved in during your Marymount career, record it on a Registration for a Co-curricular Transcript form. Pick up a Verification Form in the Office of Student Life and give it to your advisor. S/he will fill it out and turn it in to the office.
Once you begin this process, a file is created for you in the Office of Student Life. All registration and verifications go into this file and serve as documentation of your skill development through leadership positions, club involvement, work experience, volunteer service, committee participation, intramurals, and athletics.
When you are ready to apply to colleges, universities, or employers, fill out a Co-curricular Transcript Request and drop if off at the Office of Student Life. This form should be requested at least two weeks before you would like your co-curricular transcript sent.
Where do I pick up these forms? Right here!
